Effective from the 1 st of July 2004 and thereafter there is a requirement as per the Australian Standard (AS1425) that all LPG systems installed into new vehicles must comply to the relevant ADR emission regulations of that vehicle. There is a legal requirement to ensure that the LPG emissions of the vehicle operating on LPG are equal to if not better than the emissions of the vehicle in petrol mode.
The following is a list of vehicles that Parnell LP Gas Systems have successfully submitted and tested in accordance with the EPA regulations.
When shopping for an LPG conversion it is critical for cars with a build date after the 1 st of January 2004 to have a Certified LPG conversion kit in accordance with the above requirements.
